Hypnotic fan* : a weird fan is run under non stationary speed. Contestants shall estimate the instantaneous speed as a function of the time from the video file 

 Shake the snake*: a cantilever beam is excited by a shaker with a swept sine. Contestants shall perform a modal analysis of the beam from the video file

Winners will be awarded with the following prizes:

• 4-channel data acquisition system (CompactRIO system for  noise and vibration realtime analysis) offered by National Instruments
• One-day provision of a 3D laser scanning vibrometer at your premises (PSV-500-3D-HV-Xtra  25MHz) offered by Polytec
• Two places for a training session on single point & scanning laser vibrometry offered by Polytec
